IMPORTANT: A user with an Administrator role should update the default insurance value in Settings. Once done, you can start adding the insurance to your quotes automatically.
You can find this option next to a container type selection (FCL) or measurement calculator (LCL, AIR, LTL) in a quote header:
When insurance is not updated, the shield icon appears grey. Click on the shield icon and select 'Show insurance' to add the insurance to your quote:
Next step: enter your cargo value and freight cost value (freight cost is not mandatory) into the respective fields.
You can not edit the insurance value multiplier, it is fixed by the Administrator. But you can edit the Insurance cost % and change currency.
Once updated, the insurance cost will be calculated and added to the quote layout:
You can always edit / remove the insurance by clicking the shield icon on a Freight Tab
