There are a few user roles in Quotiss, which define what a user can see / edit in the system. Here is a list:
1. Administrator
The Administrator has the authority to access all system modules in the organization, including full access to Settings:
Admin can do the following:
Create new / modify / delete Users;
Create new / modify / delete Teams;
Assign Users to Teams and Roles;
Set up Company Terms & Conditions;
Set up Company email integration.
2. Pricing Manager
The Pricing Manager is responsible for commercial input into the system: freight contracts and spot rates, local port charges, terms & conditions.
Pricing manager has full access to all system modules in the organization and 'read-only' access to the 'Settings':
Pricing Manager can do the following:
Maintain correct levels of tariff and spot rates from service providers;
Keep terms & conditions up to date;
Maintain port local charges;
Set up default freight margins;
Monitor sales performance and contract usage.
3. Sales Rep - Company, Team or Individual View
Sales Reps can quote and send freight rates via Quotiss to their customers. They have full access to Quotes and Clients and 'read-only' access to Rates.
Sales Reps can be grouped into Teams, which allows having shared or restricted access to data.
Sales Rep - Company View: allows full visibility across the company.
Sales Rep - Team View: allows complete visibility within the team.
Sales Rep - Individual View: allows viewing only OWN clients and quotes
Sales Rep can do the following:
Add new clients to the system;
Create and send freight quotes;
Follow up on the quote status.
4. Read-Only Access
The read-only role gives the opportunity to view all quotes and all clients but doesn't allow creating new records or editing the existing ones. Read-Only users can download quotes in PDF from the system.
This is ideal for the Customer service team, which needs to verify quoted rate before creating a booking.
5. Compare Rates Only
This role gives only the possibility to view the Rate Dashboard with the history of freight rates. Users can select different dates and view the rates, which were valid on that date.
We recommend this access level for Operations departments to verify the carrier rates and compare them with the quoted rates.
